Dr. Humayun Mohmand is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Certified by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He and his staff perform follicular unit hair transplantation using coronal angle grafting (C.A.G.), also known as “lateral” or “perpendicular” slit grafting.

Although Dr. Humayun Mohmand does perform other plastic surgery procedures, in recent years he has concentrated on hair restoration surgery, which he has performed for over ten years. He has been actively participating in the ISHRS (International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery) meetings worldwide since 2002. At the 14th Annual ISHRS meeting in San Diego in 2006, he recieced the best practical tip award for his technique for creating natural looking temporal peaks and frontal temporal angles.

Dr. Humayun Mohmand is currently conducting a research project with primary emphasis on direction of transplanted hair in the hairline. His work for restoration of mustaches, beard, eyebrows and hair restoration for burn patients is also well respected. For the last four years he has participated in the ISHRS Orlando Live Surgery workshop as a faculty member.
