Dr. Mejia is a Board Certified Dermatologist whose full time dedication is to provide quality microscopic follicular unit hair transplantation.
Dr. Ricardo Mejia has performed thousands of successful hair restoration surgeries over the past several years. He and his staff perform follicular unit hair transplantation in order to achieve very natural and subtle hairlines.

Dr. Mejia is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery. He has also completed an intensive fellowship in hair transplantation surgery and is a member of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery.
Dr. Mejia’s philosophy is to be very forthright with patients about what they can realistically achieve. He also performs all free consultations personally. In addition to Jupiter he also provides consultations in Offices in Miami, Coral Springs, Boyton Beach and Loxahatchee.
Dr. Mejia is a native of Miami Florida. He completed his Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he was Chief Resident.
He is published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and has served as faculty instructor at the Live Hair Transplant Workshop. He has been an invited speaker to El Salvador for the annual “Sharing with the Experts” Conference and is a member of the World Hair Society, and The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery.
Dr. Mejia is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and the International Society for Hair Restoration Surgery.
Education Background:
- Dr. Mejia earned a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
- He obtained his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical at Dallas.
- Dr. Mejia then completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
- He completed his Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery residency training at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he was Chief Resident.
- Fellowship training in Hair transplantation Surgery.
