While still a medical resident, Dr. Dorin underwent hair transplantation by Dr. True and was quite impressed with the results. During consultations, Dr. Dorin thoroughly covers all aspects of treatment, including appropriate pharmaceutical therapy. Having received training from one of the most experienced hair transplant surgeons in the world, Dr. Dorin emphasizes the design aspects of a hair transplant to create hairlines that defy detection. By carefully controling the angle, direction and depth of these incisions he creates a very natural pattern and direction for the new hair, even in the temples and sides. 

The special instruments he uses create tiny and minimally invasive incisions that enable very small grafts to be placed close together. This enables his patients to achieve cosmetic density in a given area after only one surgical session.

Dr. Dorin graduated Cum Laude from SUNY Stonybrook with a B.S. in Bio Chemistry and pursued post graduate education at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his internship and residency at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in W. Islip. NY. Dr. Dorin is a member of The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery. He is board certified in Family Practice and certified by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS).

Prior to post graduate training Dr. Dorin worked in the Pediatric Urology Department at Long Island Jewish Medical Center conducting research. For 18 months he performed Northern analysis on human tissue searching for the expression of the Wilms tumor gene.
