In order to follow the natural direction of the hair, Dr. Keller often creates incisions at an angle somewhere between a sagital and coronal incision. Adjustments are made accordingly in order to follow the natural flow and direction of the hair while minimizing transection of the existing native hair.
Dr. Keller uses a single blade to excise the donor area to minimize transection and uses the trichophytic closure technique to close the donor area in order to help properly camouflage the scar. Follicular unit grafts are dissected with a microscope by his highly trained hair transplant technicians of up to 11+ years experience and then placed into recipient sites under Dr. Keller’s personal supervision.
