I started to thin in the crown area at the age of 28. Within a year or so, the temple area also started to thin out. I was in a job at that time where I could wear a hat most of the day to cover the hair loss and accepted the inevitable due to genetics. When I made the move to a sales career, I was very self concious of my appearance. I then started to really research the procedure and set out to find a doctor who would give me a natural hairline. After meeting with Dr. Scott Alexander and seeing some of his patients post-op, I knew I had found the right doctor. The entire experience went very well with minimal discomfort during the procedure. I was able to relax and watch movies and listen to music as the HT was being done and drove myself home later that day. I now actually enjoy telling people that I have had the procedure done. Most are in disbelief until I show them the before photos. The reaction I always get is "You cannot tell at all that you have had transplants" to which I reply "exactly, and you are not supposed to be able to tell". I could not be happier with my results as having the procedure has boosted my confidence and taken at least ten years off my appearance. |
