My hair started thinning out a bit in my late 30's. No one else would have noticed, but I could tell by all the hair I was finding on my pillow and in my shower. At 49 (50 in Sept 2010) I noticed the top of my head in a very brightly lit store changing room mirror, and was horrified by how much thinner my hair had gotten. After much thought I decided to grow old disgracefully rather than do nothing and embrace the passage of time. I did a LOT of research, and Dr Wong's name kept coming up time after time. I e-mailed him some photos, he called me, and a few weeks later I was having the procedure done in Vancouver. Like everyone else, I was absolutely charmed by Dr Wong. He's a very sincere man, and possesses a Zen-like tranquility that I found very reassuring. I was actually sad that I would probably never meet him again. |
