Dr. Cole CIT ~175 Waste of $, bad experience, FUE punch thinned some donor areas.
NHI - Dr. Roy Jones ~800 Pretty good. Had some later issues with hairline (not sure if it was loss of grafts or further thinning of native hair) I would recommend Dr. Roy Jones. He is with Hair Club now, but a skilled surgeon!

| My Hair Loss Story. |
Started losing hair at 21. Was mostly frontal with some general thinning on top. Has been stable on top/back after some thinning from 10+ years ago. Since the age of 21, I had a problem with my hairline due to my first HT. Luckily, I had lots of native hair to cover it up. After several HT's, I went to NHI in San Jose. (Dec. 2002) Dr. Roy Jones gave me a really good hairline. Around a year later, the hairline thinned a little and the hairline meeting the temple area had a dense straightline behind the front hairline. Some good hair days, some bad. In 2007, I went to Dr. Cole to make the hairline more natural and reduce that dense straight line behine some frontal hairs by thickening them up. Let's just say I paid to look worse, would of rather gave the money away and not had the procedure. Was basically coerced into his CIT, he said strip would cause hair surrounding scar would change angles if strip was done. Words of intelligence was given later on, I've had 7 strips already, how come my hair direction wasn't messed up yet? Wish I never did FUE, due to his LARGE punch removal. Dr. Cole was usually in another room, and only saw him once in a while, when he would remove some more grafts, then he would dissappear again. I wasn't the only patient he was working on at the same time. Heard someone was getting a BHT, so I guess I received less attention. One of his techs cut my hair too short in an area, Dr. told me it would look thin for a month. Another showed up late. After, they tried to sell me some post-op spray, which I declined. I've now gone to Dr. Hasson based on research and countless praises on his work. |
| Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results? |
Not until NHI in 2002, then attempted to have the hairline thickened using FUE in 2007 and it was unsatisfactory and wiry in texture, as well as sparse. Recently went to Dr. Hasson to correct hairline and thicken the front. |
| My general advice and suggestions. |
Research and don't make the mistake of location standing in the way of a quality HT. I went for convenience and paid for it (emotionally and financially). |
