Around '94 I went to some butcher in the city who did a completely
unnecessary procedure leaving about 20 of those punch holes in the back
of my head. Then about 6 years later when the hair really started to
thin, it exposed this super crap job that Dr did so I went to Dr.
Bernstein for a repair job. This would involve 1000 grafts. He did a
decent job, and I went back to him for a follow up of about 500 more
grafts. The problem with Bernstein was he couldve done a trich closure and didnt. He also didnt use single hair grafts for the front of my hairline. I would not reco. him, he seems to be behind the times. Last time I saw him I asked him about my donor scar and why its so wide. He replied "I didnt do trich closure?" and then he said he used staples now because they provide for a better scar as opposed to the sutures that dissolve. Well thanks DOC.
Which brings us to the present day. March 2nd Im going to Dr Feller to fix the hairline once and for all. 600 grafts, which should mask any signs of sparse plugginess. As for the scars in the back, well Ill have to talk to feller about that.

Avodart since day 1 it was available. Im pretty sure I am the 1st person to use this drug purely for hairloss since it came on the market. I cant say for sure that it did anything, (but im pretty sure) and I wouldnt recommend it.

| My Hair Loss Story. |
Im 36 now, started balding around 22. Went into a clinic in NYC which I shouldve never have been accepted for. After that, my journey of BS begins to fix the problems..... Bernstein twice, to fill in and correct the first surgey. Tomorrow MARCH 2, Dr feller for what hopefully will be the last one.
MARCH 3 Went to Fellers office yesterday, no one there because of the snowstorm. BTW I made it out there from manhattan. So now must reschedule. To be continued.....
