 My Hair Loss Story.

My hair has been receeding since I was 17 years old.  I am now 37 and a class 6.  I was never worried about my hair loss until my 10 year old son asked me if I wanted to put a hat on before my 8 year old was going to take a picture of me.  I asked him if it bothered him that Daddy was bald.  He said no, it was just that I always wore a hat in my pictures.  So I got to thinking about my hair loss and looked in the mirror at every possible angle and realized it was worse than I thought.  I never really looked at myself like that before.

How has my hair loss affected me?

It made me feel self-conscious at certain times.  I got tired of all the little jokes about my lack of hair, even though I made them myself.  After thinking about it I would wear a hat quite often.

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

I have never tried any.

Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?

Dr. Limmer and his staff, especially Christina were excellent.  The results have not had enough time to develop.

What hair loss treatments would I recommend?

Hair restoration with Dr. Limmer

How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?

So far it has given me a little bit of confidence and hope.  Granted it has only been one day, but I like to think positively.

 My general advice and suggestions.

Do your homework.  Talk with and research as many surgeons as you can.  Don't fall prey to outfits that promise you the world.  You have to feel comfortable with the surgeon.  I met with Bosley and a local doctor who used to be with MHR.  They did not seem genuine to me and I did not feel like thats who I want to help me change my life.
