Starting
losing hair at 20 with a receding hairline and at 22 I start losing hair in the
crown area. My family doctor told me I should expect larger loss and
to expect to lose my hair like my father. My father is completely bald since he's 23.
My father had a hair piece for more than 20 years. I know all the disadvantages
of a hair piece. I won't have a hair piece ever.
I decide to take medication such as Propecia. Since my brother is a pharmacist,
He told me to use proscar instead of propecia. Proscar is cheaper and cover by insurance policie.
I visited 2 hair transplant surgeons. One in Montreal, Qc and one in Ottawa,
On.
The first one didn't make me conformable to do the procedure. First of all, He didn’t
show his own hair and secondly no feedback on any forum was found or any
patient testimonial or pictures...
The Ottawa surgeon, Rahal, has abundant feedback over the internet and didn't
rush me to have the procedure. He gave advice and how big would be the surgery
and even gave me a choice if I wanted to do all the surgery at once or make
only the front hairline at first and the back after for financial reason.
