Name:

geomarq

Level of
Baldness:

Bald Class 3

Surgical
Treatments:

- Had my HT in May 2009 (strip) with Dr. DiStefano in his CT office. Ended up with 1587 grafts.

- Was very nervous, but everything went very smoothly. The doc and his nurses were great, made me very comfortable, and we were all practically friends by the time I drove home.

- I'm following all the instructions, but these scabs can't fall off fast enough.

- Didn't sleep much the first night, due to the pillow incline. Overall no major pain at all. I've been taking a pain killer every 4 hours and will likely stop today (the second day). Some light swelling left.

.

Non-Surgical
Treatments:

- Propecia 4x a week (S,M,W,F) & regular Head & Shoulders.

 My Hair Loss Story.

- Slowly started getting MPB around early to mid twenties. The "baldie" comments started in late twenties. Vowed to not be a Mr. Clean.

- After having our first child in 2008, I wanted to finally do something about my thinning and disappearing hairline. I never realized how bad it was until we took some professional family photos. I'm 35 this year and also felt the thinning had been stable for sometime now (4-5yrs. maybe?)

- Watched the Bosely infomercial one night, and made an appointment. Was convinced a HT was the route for me, but wanted other consultations as I didn't like the salesman approach. Found this site, became informed and went with a local, non-coalition doctor in the area.
