Surgical Treatments: |
2007 - scheduled a hair transplant. The experience
was so crushing, so terrible, so embarrassing that I was at a complete loss as
to the audacity. For the uneducated - basically, 1 hair graft can mean 1, 2,
or 3 hairs making up what is known as a “graft” planted in your head. I had such minimal work planted in that I
could see – anywhere, with super close inspection all around, that I was
humiliated.
On the day of the surgery the doctor had another guy do it. I was floored at the result. All
the feelings I was going through. Who was I going to complain to? Honestly? The
hurt, the shame (of getting completely screwed) Who would come to my defense?
The problem, as I would come to find out, is that the hair transplant business
- as an industry - is highly unregulated. Men do not come forward after a bad
incident due to fear or shame of having sought treatment to begin with. I was so shocked, so hurt, so disappointed, so emotionally
disabled I didn’t know what to do.
2009 - Dr. Konior in Chicago,
and the difference in experience and the results from before to here (work
quality, genuine Dr. involvement, etc.) was like going from a $45 motel to a $2000
a night suite. Konior provides real results, real work, a real “physician” who
honors his craft.
