 My Hair Loss Story.

Started to lose my hair at age 20.  Started to seriously consider a hair transplant about 7 years ago.  At that time, I met with Dr. Bernstein but decided to wait a few years longer before jumping in and getting a transplant.  Now that I'm about to turn 40, I decided that it was time to take the plunge.  I've read the forums for the past few years which helped tremendously in helping me decide which doctor to go with.  With my level of loss, I knew I would likely need 2 megasessions (hopefully not more, but who knows...).  For me, it came down to a toss up between H&W and Dr. Feller.  In the end, I decided to go with Dr. Feller.

Had my prodecure on June 26, 2009 and it went off without a hitch.  I plan to have my second procedure in June 2010.

Recovery period has not been that bad.  Went back to work 18 days after the procedure.  I see patients so wearing a hat was never an option.  With concealers (couvre and nanogen), no one can seem to tell that I've had a transplant.   No funny looks, no upward glances.

I've been pleased with the growth over the months.  Of course, I wish I had more density, but being 6'4", there's only so much density that can be acheived...

.....Forward to May 2010.  Went in for procedure #2 to fill in the crown area.  Decided on Dr. Wong this time around.  From beginning to end, it was a fantastic experience.  The overall customer service at Hasson & Wong was outstanding.  Emails were answered promptly.  Entire staff was courteous and professional.  Dr. Wong did an outstanding job matching my crown pattern and was able to use some single grafts to reinforce my hairline.  I highly recommend Dr. Wong!
