I started to lose hair when I was 18.  My hair loss didn't follow any pattern.  It was gradual thinning of hairline over years.  I had first transplant in India in Dec 2006.  It was a strip surgery and my scar extended beyond my ear which later I realized that was not normal.   Also my scar is thick as compared to scars on patients who had their transplants in the US.  

 The results were good after my surgery. I used FINAX (Indian Propecia) for almost 18 monthis after my surgery. 

 The biggest mistake I did was to stop FINAX and Mintop(Indian version of Rogaine) at the same time.  I was worried about the sexual side effects of propecia.  I experienced some side effects and my friends scared me to death :) This was the reason for my hair loss once again.   Within 6 months of stopping FINAX my hair loss was accelerated and people started to notice and tell that I was losing hair. 

 I consulted Dr.Dorin in NYC office and I got my second procedure done 10 days ago.  Also, I started to take FINAX again.  

I am hoping to see some hair back on my scalp :) It is very depressing to see thick hair line reduce within months.  Whenever I see my hair, I regret my decision of stopping FINAX.
