Finally, convinced I could get a good result, and with the financial means, I decided to go to Dr. Hasson on Sept. 17th, 2009. While it may look like I've got a smaller bald spot, I actually had some pretty diffuse thinning  through a lot of my scalp. I also had effectively lost the right side of my hairline. I had a total of 3623 grafts done, with 600 on my right hairline and 3023 put into my crown to mid-scalp area to rebuild my look.

Was on Rogaine 5% generic solution for about 8 years, stopped 3 years prior to surgery. on 1 mg propecia daily past 11 years.

 My Hair Loss Story.

I lost most of my hair over the course of a year - when I was 23. It sucked. A lot. I'm a very public person and it hurt my confidence in so many ways - something I'm sure a lot of guys can relate to. Luckily, I was able to halt the hair loss with Rogaine, which I used for about 8 years (and stopped), and Propecia, which I've used for about 11. That has halted my loss. I waited a long, long time, before I decided to get a hair transplant.
