I started losing my hair gradually since 18. I had major thinning in the crown and recently more in the hairline. Like everyone else, hairloss affected my confidence in a big way. The aged guy i see the mirror everyday does not resemble me!

Alot. low self confidence so had to do something about it. i looked much much older than i am.

i think propecia has arrested my hairloss, but of course i cannot be 100% sure.

with my first 2 HT's by the wellsbourne clinic in the uk about 8 years ago, i guess my results were poor compared to the results by the coalition surgeons on this site.

With regards to my 3rd and latest HT with Dr Jerry Cooley, i am extremely satisfied so far.

at the moment too early to tell. only had the HT on 23/12/09

NEVER just retreat into your shell and let hairloss take over. research, email , talk to others and seriously consider a HT from a coalition surgeon if you are suitable. What these guys do (esp Dr Cooley) is leading edge and miles away from techniques that were being used 10 years ago.

also, never let location of a surgeon be a negative. i travelled to north carolina, USA from the uk after a year of research because in my opinion Dr Cooley and his team were the right choice for me.
