| My Hair Loss Story. |
I had my hair trasnplant in Turkey on Aug 24-25. My doctor was Dr Beyhan. She had 5 assistant and fisrt rate clinic! and she did the extraction and, with her assistants, the implantation of the new grafts. lateral slit technique and dense packing. 60 FU up front with 1 and 2 hairs and 40 FU further bach with 3 and 4 hairs. the total area to be transplanted is somewhere between 50 and 60 cm2. I went through hairmed in Paris.
I had 3650 grafts on Aug 24-25 2011
Had 1s FU: 660
Had 2s FU: 1600
Had 3s FU: 1100
Had 4s FU : 290 |
| How has my hair loss affected me? |
I always had my hair long so I never considered myself bald: but I was! It was actually the hair transplant that made me realize that all these years I was really bald. It occured about a month after the transplant when a young (20) friend came up to me and said, "my dad is like you, he is also bald" that hit me like a ton of bricks. the first word was dad, and the second was bald. |
