I have been thinning out since as early as 21 (yes its been about 18 years) and have held it together with Rogain for the first 10 years and finasteride for the last 6 years. For the most part I will tell you this stuff really works to keep your hair although I wouldn't say I have grown new hair...maybe if I started finasteride earlier I would have been able to gain some.
I have been keeping my hair styled with various makeup concealers but quite frankly tired of the mess and the continuous upkeep. Also my hair started to recede to a point that I no longer could use it effectively.
I have been researching a hair transplant for the last 10 years and when I was all said and done I decided to go for it. It also helped that there was a fantastic doctor already here in Tucson with whom I have seen a number of results that were consistently good. |
