I began to develop the typical Norwood 2 A MPB in my early fifties. I also began HGH anti-aging therapy with my doctor's care when I was 54 YO. Some of my hair actually began to grow back, but ultimately I decided on a HT to adequately restore my lost hairline.
I personally view HT's as both a cosmetic procedure as well as an effective anti-aging therapy in that your appearance after the HT rolls back the visual clock 10-15 years.
I had my first HT in January, 2011 (2378 grafts) by a Bosley doctor in Denver who I regard as being very skilled. I know Bosley is held in general disdain by many on this site & it is unfortunate that they have had miserable results from Bosley docs. Fortunately my experience was positive and I went back for a second HT (to add density to my eyebrows, temples, and front hairline utilizing 1780 grafts) on April 11, 2012. At this writing I am almost 3 months post HT and quite pleased with my results so far.
I am very involved in anti-aging therapies as evidenced by my 4 year usage of doctor prescribed HGH injections, bio-identical testosterone supplementation, extensive anti-oxidant consumption, and most recently began TA-65 therapy on June 1, 2012 after having extensive blood lab work conducted to measure both my telomere length baseline and also my entire endocrine & body systems measurements. |
