I used Minoxidil before having Hair Transplants. In a way, it helped in slowing down my hair loss. But sadly because of it's cost and my financial stature at the time, I stopped using it.

After a few years, I wanted a permanent solution. So I decided to go for my first HT session, which was a good decision.

I am taking Propecia right now; one tablet every day. Though I only started taking it after my second Hair Transplant  session, I am hoping it will help stop further hair loss and maybe even make my hair look thicker as time goes by.

 My Hair Loss Story.

I started losing my hair at the age of 23. At the time, the only medication I took was Minoxidil. It was very expensive for me to use on a monthly basis. But I stuck with it for about 3 years. But I wanted a more "solid" solution to my problem.

After several years of waiting (or praying), I told myself that I really needed to do something. So I finally researched about Hair Transplant. I found a good doctor here in the Philippines. I went to his clinic, and the rest is history.

How has my hair loss affected me?

Well, when I still had thick hair I was more active socially. Of course as with other men suffering from hair loss, social activities will always be affected.

When I started losing my hair, it was harder for me to go out or do the things I would normally do because there was always the worry that people who you know will comment about it.

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

The best treatment I think is having hair transplant surgery. It is a more realistic solution, one that you can really enjoy and see. But of course, you should always research first before going ahead with it. You owe yourself that much.

Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?

Definitely. Just look at it this way, having hair is better than not having it at all!

 My general advice and suggestions.

My only advice is to be "patient" with Hair Transplants. At first, you may feel sad. But time heals all wounds, and before you know it, you will be comparing the before and afters with a smile on your face.

Also coordinate with your Hair Transplant doctor. He/she knows best and can answer any questions you may have.
