I used to have really long hair and tied it back in a ponytail which i think caused the widows peak. I cut my hair short about 10 years ago and messed around with it so much since (bleaching etc.) My hair has been receding noticeably now for about 10 years. I have shaved it off, buzz cut too which i find refreshing just waking up and not having to worry about styling. But presently i have it about 3 inches long & messy, to try to hide the receding front. I understand it looks dodgy. It has eventually reached a stage where it really p*ssed me off, enough to actually do something about. I finally booked to have a hairtTransplant with Dr. Kiely in Cork, Ireland. on the 13th June '07. I am anxious but cannot wait to get it over with and finally, hopefully just trip my hair down to a blade 3 all over and leave it that way. I am tired of constantly fixing my hair to achieve a 'full' look..
I have since canceled my intended surgery with Dr. Kiely in Cork. I lost a deposit of 1,000 euros. but have been encouraged by members on the hair-restoration forum. I am doing research and shall plan for a ht in the US with one of the Coalition doctors recommended on this site. The planned date for this hopefully will be in March 2008. and thereafter will travel South America for a year. I will post a tonne of photos when the time comes.
I have gone ahead with surgery with Dr. True in New York. and will upload photos today
