Surgical Treatments:	On May 21, 2007 I had hair restoration surgery with Dr. Reed and his staff implanted 2575 grafts made up of approx: 7725/1's, 12875/2's and 515/3's. The donor strip was 1.3cm wide on the right half and 1.2 cm wide on the left. The length of the donor strip was approx. 25 cm long.

My Hair Loss Story.

I had gradually been losing my hair since my mid to late 20's and finally decided to do something before it was way too late. Finding this website helped answer a lot of questions and pointed me in the direction of 3 doctors... Rassman, Reed and DeYarman. I met with all 3 to discus my hair loss and was impressed by each, but decided to go with Dr. Reed based on gut instinct and his patience. I talked with him for over an hour on the phone and then drove to LaJolla (from OC) to meet with him in person.

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

I've been using Propecia for the last 8 years which I think has slowed down my hair loss fairly significantly. I say that because my two brothers (1 younger and 1 older) have both lost much more hair than I have.
