 My Hair Loss Story.

My hair loss started around age 22. Before that I had amazingly thick healthy hair, and of course never thought about hairloss. The furthest thing from my young mind was that I would start thinning. My father is a NW7 or so and has been shiny bald since his 40's. This didn't worry me due to the fact the we look nothing alike. I just didn't think about hair loss and genetics back then. The men on my mom's side of the family all have thick wavy hair into their 50's & 60's. In the 5 years since my hairline has "only" receeded an inch or so. Even with my teenager hair I had what I lovingly call a 5-head. So a receeding hairline has really hurt my self-esteem and my looks.

How has my hair loss affected me?

Hair Loss has made me pretty miserable. I will be 100% honest that when I first started losing hair I was reduced to tears. Generaly deppressed on a daily basis about it. Last couple of months have come to grips with it and decided to get a hair transplant and fix it!

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

None

 My general advice and suggestions.

I have been doing research on Ht's for 3 solid years. The waiting and reading stopped me from rushing into an HT.

My advice is to read everything and anything you can on hair loss and hair transplant surgery.  www.hairtransplantnetwork.com , www.hairsite.com , and www.hairlosshelp.com  have an amazing wealth of information to absorb. Do your research and you will see that those who didn't paid a terrible price and were either scammed or disfigured.
