AtomBS

Level of
Baldness:

Bald Class 4

Surgical
Treatments:

December 4th 2007 I had a hair restoration procedure. I was going to get 2500 grafts but ended up getting around 2150 since there wasn't enough in the donor. I was bummed about that but i ended up paying less than i was going to because of that. The hair transplant surgery went well and there wasn't that much pain, even what was said to be the most painful part wasn't painful at all. I watched 2 movies while getting it done, had a good lunch and the time flew by and i was done. Its been 3 days since it seems to be healing niceley and don't have that much pain if at all maybe a little when i goto sleep when lay my head on the pillow the back of my head hurts. other than that my scalp is itchy.

AtomBS had surgery performed by Glenn Charles, D.O.

Non-Surgical
Treatments:

Tried scalpmed, propecia, and a couple of other topical treatments that didn't work for me.

 My Hair Loss Story.

I started losing my hair when I was 17 but it didn't get noticeable until I was 20, It really made me self-concious , I always said to my self why me? None of my friends are losing their hair. One of my friends constantly bleached his hair and it was fine. I tried a lot of topical hair restoration solutions but nothing really helped. I went to some local doctor for a consultation and said a hair transplant was going to be $15,000!!! and back then I didn't have as much hair loss then I do now and didn't end up spend no where near that for my recent procedure.

How has my hair loss affected me?

It has lowered my self esteem and made me depressed.

Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?

Im glad that the hair restoration surgery wasn't that painful and its too soon to see the results

What hair loss treatments would I recommend?

Hair Transplants are the most effective.

 My general advice and suggestions.

Do research on a doctor. find other people that have gotten the procedure done by the doctor your looking into and see their results.
