I had noticable hair loss at 20; by 22 the carnage had gotten to the point where my hair was extremely, noticeably thinned throughout my hairline and frontal 1/3rdish...I couldn't style my hair in ANY way that disguised the thinness, and I became a slave to the concealer to get by.
Hair loss wrecked my identity and confidence; I've felt fractured since losing my hair, as if a part of me just evaporated. I don't (any longer) seek my ridiculous hair from youth past; my goal is to achieve hair that is both age-appropriate and suits my facial feature. It doesn't need to be "perfect", but I know it can be a WHOLE lot better than what it has been! |
