I noticed my hair loss during my late teens and it became a major concern of mine since my early 20s and thereafter... I first considered hair transplant during my stay in Houston in 2000 and i met with Dr. Bosley who proposed a surgical procedure for me. At that time i was 30 and my hair loss was quite obvious. I declined this option just because of trauma of surgery involved into it. I kept myself updated with the advancements in the field of HT and with time convinced myself to go for a surgery, and finally had my first procedure done by Dr. Humayun Mohmand on 21st of August 2008, the big day.

As my appearance started to change dramatically it affected my confidence and self esteem to some extent...

I am very happy with my HT experience. After big research i chose Dr. Humayun, and finally had the first procedure on Aug. 21, 2008. At that day i reached clinic at 0900 and the procedure started at 0930. I felt almost no pain while cutting the strip as it was FUT, closure, incisions, and implants. Everything went very smooth, the Dr. himself and his team were very nice and professional. The whole procedure of transplanting 2640 grafts finished in 3.5 hours. There were 4 technicians assisting Dr. for  dissection, and two for implanting the grafts into incisions. After the procedure, i was briefed with the post-procedure guidelines, and along with that the personal and mobile phone contacts of Dr. Humayun and his consultant Mr. shahid were provided. Afterwards, i revisited on 10th day for stitches removal and met with Dr. who further briefed me for upcoming concerns and results time-line. Overall, i am greatly satisfied with my procedure and decision of going for HT so far.
