My Hair Loss Story

Thankfully, my hair loss has been a gradual event.  I started noticing it happening when I was in my mid 20's.  Once I hit 27, 28 the clumps started growing near the shower drain.   I didn't think too much of it at that point because it didn't seem too noticeable.  But over the last year I started being able to see the contour of my scalp through my hair.  I hate that and noticed my receding hairline.  I knew that this would eventually happen.  I don't want it to get to much out of control so I'm doing something about it now.  Wish me luck. I'm in the early stages now so it's all about the waiting game right?

How has my hair loss affected me?

Makes me a little self conscious sometimes.

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

Not sure yet.  Still in the initial stages

Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?

I can't speak for my results since I just had my Transplant.  However the experience was much better than I thought it would be.  The procedure was almost next to painless during the the day.  It was quite a long day but the Dr. and his staff made it go by fast.  I watched a movie to pass some time.  However you are somewhat drugged up so remembering what went on during the movie.....well I wouldn't be taking a quiz on it thats for sure.. lol

What hair loss treatments would I recommend?

I have only been on propecia for about 2 months.  So its to early to for me to really say much.  But as time goes on I'll up date this

How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?

to early to answer

My general advice and suggestions.

Do your research.  Choose a Dr. who is recommended.  Also one you can see what kind of work he/she has done. Ask for references. Ask the references what the procedures were like for's/con's. How they felt about the doctor and the hole process.  You are spending an A** load of money and you want to make sure it's going to be well spent.  Make sure the DR has a "STABLE" staff that only "HE" works with so you know he sees their work. And to me what's most important after that... Choose a DR. who makes "YOU" feel comfortable about what you are doing and what he's going to do to you!
