My Hair Loss Story

I started loosing my hair in high school. After high school I went into the military and kept my hair buzzed for years. When I got out of the military it hit me just how much hair I had lost when I started trying to grow it out and so I started wearing baseball caps all the time.

How has my hair loss affected me?

I always dreaded taking my cap off in front of people. You can see their faces change when they realize... you are bald. As I began approaching my 50’s I had this overwhelming feeling that I was becoming an “OLD MAN”. Before my transplant I was really just floating along in life and I was letting myself slip.

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

Hair transplants.

Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?

Absolutely! I have no regrets. Just more hair.

What hair loss treatments would I recommend?

For anyone like me I'd recommend hair transplant. I tried Rogaine half heartedly for awhile. It was too much work for me to stay regular with it and I really didn’t want to have to constantly work at my hair. I just wanted it fixed so I wouldn’t have to worry about it any more.

How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?

It was a huge motivator for me and has had a positive impact on my marriage as well. I started looking at life differently and taking better care of myself. I lost 65 pounds and cut back on smoking significantly. I don’t feel like an old man anymore!

My general advice and suggestions.

Get your hair back! Honestly, with all we do for others and our families, this is one thing we can do that’s positive for ourselves (just make sure you choose a skilled doctor). My only regret is that I didn’t have it done sooner.
