Procedure 1

Dr. Hasson

Age: 43 | Bald Class: Bald Class 5 Email Me

I've decided to take the hair transplant gamble. I'm having surgery on May 9 by Dr. Hasson in Vancouver. Am I scared? No, not for the surgery (slice me up!). But if this doesn't work, I don't think my inner hair-losing self (or bank accont) could handle another blow ... Here's hoping!

Non-Surgical Treatments:

Propecia daily since I was about 23. Tried Minox and got bad side effects (morning headaches, etc.)

My Hair Loss Story

Where to begin? I remember doing my homework in high school and always being distracted by hairs falling in my books. By 21, you could see through to my scalp... Now, I'm 30, and it's basically almost all gone.

How has my hair loss affected me?

Oh gosh... It's been really hard on me emotionally. I'm naturally very outgoing and social, but this has totaly made me a loner.

What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?

Well, I've been on Propecia for some seven years now. Nothing has grown in, but I haven't lost much in those years either.

Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?

I'll let you know.

What hair loss treatments would I recommend?

Unfortunalty, I've never found anything that really, really works.

How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?

I'll let you know.

My general advice and suggestions.

BE PATIENT. Any treatment (even hair transplants) require at least a year to see results.
