Awesome hair

Im looking at the before and after shots and I say I am greatly impressed. My baldness is much like yours and I am about the same age... it gives me incredible amount of hope.

Your Results

Arries,

I'm glad to see you come back and post your final results.  Unfortunately, as nice as Iphones are, they don't take high quality photos.  But as far as I can tell, your hair looks terrific and you no longer show any signs of thinning.

Congratulations on getting your hair and your life back :-)

Best wishes,

5 months

Arries,

It looks like your hair is really starting to blossom now.  You must be thrilled.  It's still early in the game however, so you can expect a lot more.

Keep us posted on your progress!

4 months

Arries,

It appears that you are having some nice progress so far at only 4 months.  As you know, this is only the beginning.

Progress

Arries,

Wow, you've really experienced a lot of new hair growth for just only 3 months.  You are one of the lucky ones so congrats!  of course, by no means are you even close to finished, you are just beginning!

Your donor scar looks a little red still which is typical.  It's hard to tell whether or not you have experienced shock loss or the scar is a little wide from the pictures.  Of course the "width" of the scar could be amplifed due to the redness.&nbs

healing

Arries,

You are right where I'd expect you to be for only 1 month post op.  Most if not all of the transplanted hairs have shed and you are healing very nicely.  It appears that there is still some discoloration (pink) of the scalp but don't worry.  This is normal and will take some time to go away.

Keep us posted!

Shock Loss

How was the shock loss in the recipient area?

Shedding

Arries,

Thanks for posting some updated pictures of your procedure.  At 18 days all appears normal as you are starting to experience some shedding.  As you know, most of it will shed and it will all come back starting between 3-5 months.  Keep us posted!

Scar Pictures

Arrie,

Your scar pictures look nice and normal at 11 days post op.  The staples marks above and below the scar can last a little but will fade over time.

Thanks for the update!

Congrats!

Arries,

Congratulations on your recent HT with Dr. Ron Shapiro.  Your immediately post op results look good and your 8 day post op photos show you are healing nicely!  I appreciate all your contributions on the forum.  Heal and grow well my friend!
