5 Months

Badger,

As I said on the forum, growth is really starting to come in now.  Expect more growth and a lot of thickening over the next several months :-).

Dr. Gabel does excellent work.

3 Months

Badger,

Dermmatch and toppik are doing a great job for you while you wait for the hair to come in.  At 3 months, it seems like you're experiencing some growth already which is certainly a bonus.  There is much more to come.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Looking pretty nice!

Hey Badger - honestly i think for 3 months the coverage even without the toppik looks good!   It's  like what one post said - the HT is all about a process, not a one-time thing.  :)

Looking good!

I am impressed with the results at only 2 weeks. I can't believe how much your hair has grown and how well the recipient area has healed. If it looks this good now, just imagine what you'll look like in a few months. Congrats!

Nice and Clean

Badger,

Dr. Gabel sure knows how to create a nice, clean and densely packed recipient area.  Everything looks great.

Hopefully you won't or didn't have too much postoperative swelling, though it's perfectly normal.

Heal well and keep us posted on your progress.  It's a long wait, but a lovely ride.

Best wishes,

Congrats!

badger,

thanks for creating a hair loss patient weblog.  You have chosen a first-rate physician, so you will be in the best of hands.

3000 grafts should make a big difference and later, you can decide if you want to get more density/coverage, depending on your short term and long term goals.

Keep us posted on your progress.
