My Hair Loss Story
I had always been about a Norwood scale 2 or 2a. Only slight recession in temples and forehead over a period of 14 to 15 years. I have a big forehead, however, so the receding effect, to me, was exaggerated. How has my hair loss affected me?
I was becoming more and more self-concious as I got older, because I could see that the hair loss was getting worse. When I was 22 or 23, it was no big deal, because my hairline had not matured fully yet, and the hair loss at the temples and forehead were not noticeable. Now, at 37, I can definitely see the difference with the combination of a maturing hairline and noticeable loss at the forehead area and temples. Hair replacement surgery has always been a dream for me, but I've been putting it off because of fear of the pain, and because I thought it was beyond me financially. I was wrong on both counts!
Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?
I am very happy with my experience at Dr. Charles office. He, and his staff, are extremely friendly and professional. I was at ease the moment I sat down with Dr. Charles, and I was impressed that he took the better part of an hour to explain the procedure to me, address my fears, and even showed me the tools that he would be using. Based on my experiences going for consultations at other Hair Replacement clinics, I have to say that Dr. Glenn Charles is one of a kind.
