TrooperBald Class: Email Me 1 session (2100 grafts) at the age of 25 and another (2000) at the age of 33 (8 years later)
tried shampoos/conditioners, massage treatments and even wore a weave.
My Hair Loss StoryHair loss sucks big time. Started loosing at the age of 20. Tried everything from weaves to topics. Nothing worked so i decided to do a transplant at the age of 25 in hopes that i could keep ahead of the hair loss game. As the transplanted hairs from my first session of 2100 started to grow, hair loss progressed. since the age of 20, i have been wearing a hat. The first transplant helped but still wasn't confident enough to walk around without a hat. It helped when i had to go to events such as weddings, etc... but made a minor impact in feeling confident enough to remove my hat. 7 years later, im still wearing the hat when i walk out the door. Decided that i need another transplant to dense up what i have so went back to Dr. Feller and got another 2000 grafts. This blog is written 6 months after my second transplant. I don't see a big improvement but i do see something happening. Guess i need to wait 6 more months before my results are more accurate.
How has my hair loss affected me?
It affects me a great deal. Every time i leave my house, I'm wearing a hat. Im really tired of it yet im not confident enough to go out without it. Its a loose, loose situation for me. 13 years now and its the same story. Hopefully this second transplant will help out.
What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?
none. Only results iv seen that produced something is hair transplantation.
Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?
Not happy with my first results. I expected more but i guess over time, my hair loss progressed. Although the transplant was done professionally and correctly, i have lost too much hair for 2100 grafts to cover. Lets see what another 2000 will do. There is a possibility that i will have to do a third but im not gonna jump the gun for at least another 6 months.
What hair loss treatments would I recommend?
I guess try rogain and see what happens. Last resort for me was hair transplant as there's nothing out there to regrow hair.
How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?
It didn't change much to date. If the second transplant is a success to my satisfaction, then ill re-post
My general advice and suggestions.
dont expect miracles. But read this forum and try going by the pictures posted as a vague comparison but each person will be different so there's no exact match.
