Initially tried various herbal oils, shampoos recommended by various relatives and friends but soon realized they were all useless.
Considered Mioxidil/Finasteride but decided against it.
Tried homeopathic remedies from reputed homeopath which helped with the dandruff but not with the hair loss.
As I read about the scientific literature regarding hair loss I understood that the only long term solution was FUT transplant.
My Hair Loss Story
I have been losing hair since the age of 18 gradually thinning over the years. Its been a slow depressing process.
How has my hair loss affected me?
Initially felt low as I was still in my teens and became very conscious of my looks but as it was a very slow process gradually adapted to it.
What hair loss treatments have worked best for me?
Am I happy with my hair transplant experience and the results?
Too early to tell but I trust Dr Madhu's experience and skills and expect a decent result.
What hair loss treatments would I recommend?
The only treatment I would recommend for male-pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) is a hair transplant.
How has hair restoration surgery changed my life?
Too early to tell.
My general advice and suggestions.
Best to get a medical opinion from a dermatologist about the cause of hair loss before going down any treatment route.
Educate yourself by relying on science and unbiased independent research - do not fall for marketing gimmicks, sponsored forums pretending to be independent, snake oil peddlers of whom there are plenty etc etc. If possible meet patients to check for results personally rather than rely only on pictures.
