Riggs's - Profile page HT # 1 & HT # 2 - 1 Year Compare

Posted :1/8/2009

My first surgery was with Dr. Cohen which was a 1,500 graft procedure. January 22, 2008 I went to Dr. Feller which a 3,200 graft procedure was done. Currently I am very unhappy with the entire results of HT # 2. I am not trying to be unfair with Dr Feller. I know he is a very good Dr but in my case the results are not good and the pictures speak for themselves.
1) Yes I am still on Propecia and have been for many years and have never gone off it during both HT's
2) I have not changed anything in terms of shampoos,e tc
The only thing that was different between both procedures is that Cohen (which yielded a better result did not shave the recipient area. Yes I know that should have nothing to do with the results but I am just pointing out the differences.

January 6, 2009, Almost one year later and the results in my crown area are non existent. After performing a mega session of 3,200 grafts with a concentration in the crown this is the result of the crown area.

January 9, 2009 - This picture was taken by me almost 1 year later. As you can see I tried to mimic the same kind of picture Dr Feller took by parting the hair slightly. As you can see by comparing this photo with the one directly above there is not much if any difference for a 3,200 graft procedure. I will report back to this blog of what Dr Feller said, how he responded and what actions he recommends to take. I am sure many people on this network will be very interested to know what the outcome will be, as will I.

January 22, 2008 - This picture was taken by Dr Feller the day of surgery. As you can see by comparing this photo with the one directly below this there is not much if any difference for a 3,200 graft procedure. You go to another area of this blog and see where Dr Feller outlined the area of conentration and you can better compare this area of concentration with the 1 year photo below. Who can honestly say there is any improvement that comes close to a 3,200 graft procedure. Now I am not saying Dr Feller is saying there is any improvement here, I have not had the opportunity to meet with Dr feller and have him respond. I beleive Dr Feller to be an honroable person and will give me an honest assessment of what went wrong. I will report back to this blog of what Dr Feller said, how he responded and what actions he recommends to take. I am sure many people on this network will be very interested to know what the outcome will be, as will I.
