Here is a summary for the past 2 months...
Day 1 Post - 4 hours after the bandages came off swelling started on the sides of head and forehead. Sleeping 45 Degrees.
Day 2 Post - Swelling continued on sides of head. Also right and left eye lids swelled up. Sleeping 45 Degrees.
Day 3 Post - Swelling on sides and forehead is gone. Both eyes are swollen like i got puched in face. Bags under both eyes. Sleeping 45 Degrees.
Day 4 Post - Eye lid swelling has subsided but still have bags under eyes. Sleeping 45 Degress.
Day 5 Post - All swelling has pretty much gone now. Sleeping 45 Degrees.
Week 1 Post - Head is red and tender, still feels numb and wearing a hat. Applied Vitamin E oil on the recipient area for 7 days. Applied polysporin on donor area twice a day.
Week 2 Post - Head is red and tender and still wearing a hat. Hair is starting to shed. Still using polysporin on donor area twice a day. Got the stitches off on Day 18 and started using liquid Minoxidil 5% provided by Dr. Rahal. Started with a light shower on the head to break down the scabs.
1 Month Post - Head is red and tender and still wearing a hat. All the scabs are gone and hair has shed, back to my original hair. Using liquid Minoxidil 5% provided by Dr. Rahal on recipient area and Mederma scar gel on donor area. Taking a normal shower now.
2 Months Post - Got a hair cut to even out my hair. Don't look crazy any more. Redness is subsiding and crown area is still a little numb. Still wearing a hat to work because the shaved areas haven't grown in yet. Using Rogaine 5% foam on Recpient area and Mederma scar gel on donor area twice a day.
