Alex's - Profile page Just-under-4-weeks
The difference between the fourth week and the first week is dramatic with respect to soreness and discomfort. The top of my head has almost no signs of redness and the donor area is only slightly sensative to the touch. The scar line is fading and is still a bit tender and pink above and below the line. FYI: I did not have staples like many others I've read about but I did have internal and external sutures. The external sutures were removed on day 10 and the internal sutures are supposed to disolve on their own. I think they have done so because I no longer feel a "bump" or "ridge" when I touch the scar line with my fingers.
The hair you see in the pictures is my own and not from the transplant. The transplanted hairs have all but fallen out. I now wash my hair normally. During the day I barely think about my hair transplant because my head feels relatively normal. There is still a slight tightness at the donor area but that is also dissipating. The back of my head is still somewhat numb.
I still can't pass a mirror without doing a closeup inspection. I know its useless but I suppose like many others, it's going to be standard operating procedure for me over the next several months.
