RJS-aka-Pompadore-2009's - Profile page Round-two,-day-two
I had my second and probably final procedure yesterday with an additional 2528 graphs. Additional graphs were placed in the front and top, with some near the crown, although the intent was not to completely fill in the crown. We were mainly trying to get the front and top thicker.
I wanted to give some of the thoughts from the first procedure for those who are about the get their first HT, and who have just had their first one. From what I remember, immediately after the HT, I spent so much time tending to my hair and thinking about having it back that days seemed like weeks and weeks like months. By the time the graphs had shed, it seemed like months had passed since my surgery. Eventually, after about 4 or 5 weeks, I stopped paying attention to my hair, life got back to normal, and the weeks began to fly once again.
Then about 2.5 or 3 months later the graphs started to grow, but what is interesting is that by then all of the initial excitement had faded. It was great to have the hair growing but, from what I remember, I really didn't pay a lot of attention to it - at least not as much as it seems like I would have. The excitement had worn off, the HT which seemed like an eternity ago was a distant memory, and life continued on as normal.
This go-around, I am going to try to get back to normal as soon as possible, and pay as little attention to my hair as I can. During the first week or so, it might be difficult since you have to take special care of the graphs, but after that I hope to resume life with a little thought of the HT as possible. For now I am only going to post one picture taken the day before the procedure. I’ll post some post-op photos soon.
