Can a Scar from a Hair Transplant be Removed or Minimized?

I would like to know if a scar after hair transplantation surgery can be removed or minimized.

A surgical scar cannot be removed completely because any procedure to remove the scar would result in another scar. If you are experiencing scar stretching or had a bad hair transplant that needs to be fixed, you may be a candidate for a scar revision procedure. Such a procedure has the potential to greatly improve the appearance of the scar by removing all or part of the original scar and replacing it with a thinner one.

To find out if you are a candidate for scar revision I recommend that you consult one of our prescreened quality hair restoration physicians and schedule a free online consultation.

For further research I also recommend you visit our Hair Restoration Forum and social network.
