This hair restoration patient started his repair journey in his late twenties.  He had received pluggy work from a prior hair transplant procedure.  The patient received a resection and four small surgeries to repair the old work.  Total the patient received 5310 grafts with 10,546 hairs.
1st repair session (resection) 601 grafts 969 hairs
2nd repair session 1694 grafts 3491 hairs
3rd repair session 1375 grafts 2957 hairs
4th repair session 1640 grafts 3129 hairs

The main purpose of the last two sessions were for repairing his old donor scars in the back and addressing the central zone and top of crown. His hair loss had progressed to a diffused NW 5. The last two sessions were 7 & 8 years after the resection.

Occurs when the connecting bridge of hair disappears leaving a single large bald area on the front and top of the scalp. The hair on the sides of the scalp remains relatively high.
