Regarding, FUE, I heard it's the latest in hair transplant surgery, easy to perform, and will give me thick and healthy hair. Is this true?
Follicular Unit Extraction (formerly known as Follicular Unit Extraction) (FUE) is technically the revision of an older hair transplant technique using much smaller and refined punches. Though FUE has a place in today's surgical hair restoration, in my opinion, ultra refined follicular unit hair transplantation (FUT) via microscopic dissection (strip surgery) is still today’s Gold standard. Even though FUE is becoming increasingly popular, in my opinion, it still has a long way to go to reach the consistency and viability of today’s state of the art FUT procedures.
