Question:
I am considering a hair transplant within the next 12 months. Currently I cut my hair to zero or one clipper setting. How long must I keep my hair (clipper setting) to prevent my stitches from showing on the back of my head after the procedure?
Answer:
In order to conceal your stitches after surgery, you'll want to consider growing your hair on the sides and back of your head to approximately 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. This way, nobody will be able to tell you had anything done by looking at the hair transplant donor region.
