How Soon After Hair Transplant Surgery Can I use Toppik?

4/4/2008 11:17:20 AM

I am 5 days out from hair replacement surgery and would like to know at what point I can start using toppik to conceal my hair loss and surgery?

Congratulations on your recent hair transplant surgery and for joining the "real hair club for men". Using toppik, Dermatch, Couvre, or other concealers are perfectly acceptable after the first 2 weeks of surgery. This will give your transplanted hair a good chance to become deeply rooted in the scalp and for the wounds to heal and scabs to fall off. I have also heard that these concealers can help camouflage the donor scar, so this might be worth considering as well.
