Is Rogaine (Minoxidil) Bad for Psoriasis?

9/28/2015 1:55:34 AM

Question:

I've heard that it can make matters worse. Should I not be trying it? I have mild psoriasis and use Ketoconazole for it.

Answer:

Rogaine (minoxidil) has the potential to irritate the scalp and could potentially aggravate your psoriasis.

Using a minoxidil foamrather than liquid may be a better option. The only way to know for sure is to give it a try.
