No Pimples after Hair Transplant Surgery a Bad Sign for Hair Growth?

10/30/2013 3:53:04 AM

Question:

After suffering with hair loss for years, I finally had a hair transplant about 7 weeks ago but I don't see any pimples forming on my scalp. Does that mean no sign of hair growth activity below the surface of the scalp?

Answer:

There is no need to worry. While pimples in small amounts are seen as a positive sign of new hair growth starting below the skin, some hair restoration patients never get them. You can still have excellent results.
