Bald Class

Bald class 2A

Norwood class 2A.

The class A variation of the Norwood scale is a slightly different and less common progression of hair loss. The main differences are that the hairline recedes back uniformly, without leaving an island of hair in the middle, and there is no bald area at the vertex. Instead, the hairline progresses directly from front to back.

Procedure 1

2 Weeks Post Op 14 Days gone and everything has gone well, thus far.  Since I'm from Boston, I went to a walk-in for the suture removal instead of going to New York to see Dr. Dorin.  The Doctor that attended me in the clinic was very impressed with Dorin's work and mentioned how well it has healed.  I didn't even bleed while she removed the suture! Anyways, 2 weeks down, many more to go.  So far, no bleeding form the recipient or donor area.  Now for the results!

Procedure 1

Day 3 Post Op So I went through the procedure with Dr. Robert Dorin and it really was great.  I didn't feel a thing and the staff was very nice and accomodating.  We were shooting for 1200 grafts, but ended up with 1369, so I wasn't complaining.  Pain has been minimal.  I took vicodin before bed on day 1 and been on advil since.  No swelling and absolutely no bleeding.  I've been following the post op procedures closely, but I'm curious if there is anything I can do to ensure the scabs fall off by day 5 (Have to go to work).  I've noticed that some surgeons give their patients their own saline solution spray and vitamin e oil.
