Products that Speed up the Hair Transplant Growth Process

Question:

I'm 6 days post op, following a hair transplant with Coalition member Dr. Gabel. I was wondering if there's any kind of supplement out there to help reduce the shedding period and speed up the growth process. Does anyone know of anything that works well for growing hair faster?

Answer:

Some hair replacement physicians suggest using Rogaine (minoxidil) for several months after a hair transplant to potentially jump start early transplanted hair growth. However, there's no clinical proof this works.

MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) has also been said to speed up natural hair growth. From my own personal experience, I didn't see a difference in the rate of growth when I used it for 5 months.

But time is your ally. There's no need to speed it up as in time, your transplanted and natural hair will grow back on its own. It also helps that you've chosen an outstanding hair restoration physician to perform your hair transplant :-).
