Question:
I recently had a hair transplant. Can I continue to shave my head bald until results are achieved or do I have to let it grow?
Answer:
Shaving your head after hair restoration surgery will not necessarily affect hair growth. However, you do not want to shave your head
bald with a razor until your donor and recipient areas are fully healed. This is typically about 10 to 14 days post-op after all the scabs have fallen.
I
suggest asking your hair restoration physician for his or her recommendation as
to when it is safe to begin shaving again.
