I just had a hair transplant and started experiencing postoperative swelling a few days ago and now is around my eyes. Will wearing a headband help minimize the swelling?
Postoperative swelling after hair replacement surgery is normal and will pass within a matter of a few days. If the swelling has already gone into the eyes, wearing a headband at this point probably won't help as it has already passed the forehead where you would place the headband. Wearing a headband certainly won't hurt. You might also want to try going for walks which will help the fluid drain further down the face and eventually go away. Walking has been known to help reduce hair restoration surgery postoperative swelling time overall.
